You can replay trajectories of specific assets or analyse trajectory patterns.
Trajectory replay is composed of 2 main sections :
- Set Up : If not familiar with it, please refer to Real Time Visualisation Chapter )
- Trajectory Setting :
- Trajectory clustering / Identification
- Choose Device / User to Replay
Step 1 : Select the timeframe where positions were reported. To do so, you need to select the timerange on the timeline positioned under the map, by zooming in/out to reduce or expand the timeframe. NB : the beginning of the trajectories is represented by a red bar (1).
As far you zoom in, all recorded trajectories will appear in purple.
Step 2 : Select the type and the UUID of the asset you want to replay in the drop down list available in "Choose Device / User to Replay"
Step 3 : Choose the clustering Interval. It prevents to cut the trajectory into many sub-trajectories in case of data position interruption. The more time interval you set, the less trajectory cut you will have.
Step 4 : (Optional) Toggle on "Simplification" and select the degree of the curve simplification. If activated, it allows you to select a level of curve simplification reducing noise of the asset's trajectory. The Highest the simplification is, the smoothest the trajectory will be. NB : it is recommended to choose "Low simplification"
Step 5 : (Optional) Toggle on Beziers curve filtering. If activated, the curve will be smoother, eliminating residual values.
Step 6 : Click on Play in the Replay controller (bottom) NB : You can adjust the replay speed by moving the cursor on the Replay Controller
Now you are set to replay the trajectory of an asset. You can also see real time variables related to the trajectory of the selected asset such as (speed, distance traveled... )
Example : the trajectory below represents a trajectory of the token "2f9df1-****" on January 18th 2018.
